Egypt will spend $7.7 billion to improve its oil refining capacity. On the 16th, Egyptian media reported that Egypt produces 2.4 million barrels of condensate and 125.9 billion cubic feet of natural gas every month, and imports 700000 tons of oil products from Saudi Arabia. Currently, there are 9 oil refineries and 5 to be built. In order to meet the growing energy demand, the Egyptian Ministry of petroleum announced the overhaul plan, which will spend $7.7 billion to improve oil refining and reduce transportation demand technology, import more liquid natural gas and build new bulk liquid storage facilities
